Upon looking into the issue further it appears the Free Press Article wasn't even accurate. The water bottles only contained Shelly Glover's name (Personal Information). This doesn't change the controversy but in the spirit of accurate information I've changed the citation to http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2009/11/13/mb-political-ads-bottles-school-division.html as it appears to be much more partisan neutral than the first citation from the WFP. --DarrenMoffatt (talk) 21:56, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adjustments have been made to the line re: the water bottle controversy. The bottles were not actually handed out but offerred to the Louis Riel School Division. They were rejected by the division due to their own policies and not by any policy in place through Elections Canada. This can be supported by Bruce Owen's news article in the Winnipeg Free Press. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/water-bottle-rejection-leaves-sour-taste-for-mp-70094947.html --DarrenMoffatt (talk) 18:45, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I adjusted the page to reflect the fact that Shelly Glover is only on a leave of absence from the Winnipeg City Police. Prior to the correction the article listed her as being a former Winnipeg City police officer, this is not the case. DarrenMoffatt (talk) 19:47, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The bit about an announcement by Darryl Kramp doesn't belong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.197.82.153 (talk) 15:57, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The fact is, the Wikipedia biography made a big deal out of an accusation that never led to any penalty for Glover. WP:ADAM in action. This is not good, neutral biography writing. You can question the deletion by the government IP address, but Wikipedia itself does not have clean hands here. Andreas JN466 11:55, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
