Unfortunately, I feel that the article is not ready for GA status at this time for the following reasons:
- The lead section contains citations for relatively non-controversial statements. (WP:LEADCITE)
- The "History" section has a cleanup template asking for expansion, which it definitely needs. The article does not cover the history of the school between 1911 and 2008.
- The caption of the photo is unsourced.
- The licensing for the photo is reported as public domain, but there nobody has asserted that the photographer has died more than 70 years ago, as the template claims. (WP:PD)
- The "Academic honors" and "Community service" subsections are too small to merit separate subsections.
- The "Facilities", "List of teams", and "Recent awards" sections are unnecessarily formatted in list form. (WP:EMBED)
Once these issues are addressed, you would be much closer to earning GA status! I highly recommend looking at schools articles that currently hold GA or FA status. Examples include Benet Academy, Roswell High School (Georgia), Arlington Senior High School, Amador Valley High School, and Stuyvesant High School. Good luck! Edge3 (talk) 04:42, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
