Mistakes in original quote?[edit]

I edited the grammar of the quote for clarity, and removed the (sic). However, I don't know if those mistakes were in the original quote or not, in which case the appropriate brackets should be added. But for now, I'll leave it changed. Here was the original quote:

An epileptic lunatic escaped from Mr. Kent's asylum at Gateshead Fell...He was immediately pursued but was not retaken...He escaped on the saturday night and on the Monday after his escape he murdered his wife and his daughter in a violent paroxysm of eplileptic [sic?] mania, in a most savage and horrid manner. This wretched man is now a furious criminal maniac...

The 'mistakes' were in the original quote, which was cited verbatim. Can this be reverted and the appropriate brackets be added? Meetthefeebles (talk) 10:46, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
