Merge Into "Islam in the Netherlands"?[edit]

I saw a link to this article on the Main Page, and I feel as though parts of this article could be easily merged into Islam in the Netherlands, leaving little to no use for an article such as this. If anyone has a different opinion, feel free to state otherwise Zobango (talk) 13:37, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly some material could be merged, but most probably couldn't. You wouldn't want Islam in the Netherlands to focus too much on Shiites. Melchoir (talk) 18:01, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Big picture, I think there's definitely cause to compile foonoted info to cover the Shi'a aspect of Islam in the Netherlands, plus it does help fill out the category trees for Shi'a issues, which are pretty underpopulated (perhaps due to Shi'a underrepresentation among editors?). Though not affiliated personally, I've taken some interest in fleshing out and improving Shi'a coverage on Wikipedia, thus my fixing the title, categories, and adding the "Shi'a Islam in Europe" template. Immense research has been done and efforts put in to collect information pertaining to the Twelver Shiites in Netherlands, this article solely focuses about the minority within the minority in Netherlands. Hence if it merges into the Islam in Netherlands article the information will not be precise to the extent it is being presented in this article. hence it should not be merged in my opinion.Humaliwalay (talk) 11:53, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
