Shu River in Kazakistan[edit]

The Shu River is in the Template:Rivers of Kazakhstan, and certainly not this river. Clarification and disambiguation is needed.--DThomsen8 (talk) 16:44, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The Kazakhstan river wrongly indicated in the Template:Rivers of Kazakhstan and other pages as the article Jambyl Region as "Shu River" is subject of the article named Chu River in the english wikipedia. In Kazakh it's Şw or Шу, so "Shu", in Kyrgyz Чүй, so "Chuy" - so the irritation if to spell it "Chu" or "Shu" in English is understandable. I'll fix the template and the article Jambyl Region now, but maybe the wrong internal link has been used in other pages as well...
