Name Change[edit]

Why did you make it C3, despite my message on that page? Sigh. The title has been changed in Tamil to "சி3" in order to claim tax benefits - in English it will still be referred to as S3 or Si3. Only blind media folk have been referring to it as C3 - without having done any background research into the change, and who ever changed the page seems to have done the same. Revert back. C3 (film) → Si 3 – At first the media spelt S3's renamed title in English as "C3" as it is phonetically spelt in Tamil as "சி3", the "சி" standing for "சிங்கம்" (Singam). But now the true spelling has come out per Deccan Chronicle. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:26, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

change C to Si, but oppose removal of (film) this film is still going to be known as Singam 3 colloquially isn't it? despite the rename for tax purposes (not the first time a subtle tax rename has happened to a film), so per WP:COMMONNAME it might do better to sit at Singam 3 in line with Tamil sources.
