Comment: I don't have a copy of the first source, nor have I found a scan. The second one is behind a paywall.

GameSpot Review[edit]

I was under the understanding that it was not a review from a staff member. Usually staff use their full name, unlike here, and the "about" section of the author looks like this, opposed to how a staff member looks. Sergecross73 msg me 12:11, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

At [1], it is listed as a GameSpot review and not a player review. Here's the CV of the author, Michael E. Ryan: [2]. He was freelance writer and editor for GameSpot. I found that his GameSpot reviews are transcluded on other websites as well a book. The reason his full name isn't shown is probably because it was written so long ago and GameSpot have changed their website so many times that certain data/format hasn't been carried over. There are other examples of past writers having this same format in their name, Andrew Vestal, another freelance writer who wrote GameSpot's Chrono Cross review. Former staff member's aren't listed as Staff also, Jeff Gerstmann's profile lists him as a member. --The1337gamer (talk) 12:48, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
