Light utility aircraft "Baikal"[edit]

The Baikal aircraft is only in the article about the TVS-2DTS because it was in the original German Wikipedia article.

I think it needs its own page. Lkingscott (talk) 09:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • I found there is already a page for the Baikal so removed the section and added reference in the text.

Similar and related aircraft[edit]

In the see also section I added some similar aircraft.

There are obviously many more similar size / role but I suggest for the most part the list should be kept to single engine types. However I included a couple of older twins as they had a similar use in their day and one is a biplane. Lkingscott (talk) 10:21, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Russian program for an AN2 replacement[edit]

There is a Wiki page in Russian, which details the development of various aircraft to replace the AN2. It machine translates pretty well and refers to this aircraft as the final iteration from SibNIA and the Baikal aircraft from UZGA. If I get time I could create an English page based on this machine translated page. Перспективный_лёгкий_многоцелевой_самолёт [ru]

However, as I do not speak Russian, could a Russian speaker do this? In some ways it is better to keep this as a Russian page as it will be kept up to date better, however the machine translations are still not perfect and are an experimental feature in Wikipedia.
