There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 05:36, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wives[edit]

@Cyphoidbomb: Hi, some IPs with WP:COI likely has been removing reliably sourced content [1] possibly to white-wash the article. Kindly see this. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:50, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I also note that the article, specifically the Career section, is laden with a lot of CV-style puffery, for example: "In recognition for the ground-breaking marketing efforts behind the success of the show, he was nominated for the Team Newscorp Global Excellence Awards." Thanks anon, for drooling over the "ground-breaking" efforts without telling us anything about these efforts... Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:12, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023[edit]

Seem like continuation of Talk:Siddharth Roy Kapur#Wives (2020). The article is targeted by WP:COI users.

Following discussion moved from User talk:Mynameiseverymedia#July 2023

The citation link number 34 is negative, and we don't appreciate the fact that it has been added there. Other articles cited also prove the content. Best we could get it removed. Hope you understand. Thanks. Mynameiseverymedia (talk) 11:57, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia do not censor content, if sourced using reliable sources. The content you are trying to remove is supported by more than one source in the article itself. Know that the article belong to Wikipedia not a person. Also see WP:OWN, WP:COI. You seem to have a conflict of interest, something which is not entertained in Wikipedia. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:14, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Because it's sourced with more than one article, I have just asked to remove one source if that's okay, the other 2 can remain as is. Best we could get the 34 source removed. Thanks. Mynameiseverymedia (talk) 12:59, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why? Orissa Post is a notable newspaper and its parent publication Dharitri (newspaper) has been in operation since 1974. Unless it is deprecated as unreliable at WP:RSN, there is no reason to remove it. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:31, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand, but the article is demeaning and the individual that the wikipedia page is about does not want it to be on the wikipedia page. Hence, best if you could help with this. Mynameiseverymedia (talk) 14:38, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Mynameiseverymedia: As I said, this article is a property of Wikipedia, not the subject of the article. See the policy WP:OWN, it clearly states - ":No one, no matter what, has the right to act as though they are the owner of a particular article (or any part of it). Even a subject of an article, be that a person or organization, does not own the article, nor has any right to dictate what the article may or may not say.", so we cannot remove content as per anybody's wishes. Secondly, I fail to see why this particular source is problematic? I would like to move this discussion to the article talk page. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:52, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
