Patrick White dispute[edit]

I think given the shortness of the article, mention of the dipute is in breach of WP:UNDUE. Further it doesn't seem a very accurate. Barry Jones's book A Thinking Reed , page 221, gives a different view. The book can be viewed through Google Books --Matilda talk 00:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality[edit]

Someone's put his nationality down as Belgian! Some mistake, surely? Millbanks (talk) 22:33, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of name ( taken here from Boyd Family 'talk' page )[edit]

Is it Sir Sydney or Sir Sidney? I've seen reputable sources that list it either way, and on occasion both ways in the same article. I assumed Sydney after the city. agapetos_angel 19:03, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sidney. Definitely. MulgaBill 03:07, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Auschwitz and Africa[edit]

"Although the Depression and World War II happened during this period, Nolan decided to concentrate on something other than people struggling in life" needs some revision based on an exhibition and possible book about his works relating to Auschwitz and to Africa.
