Lead As a speaker of American English, "mean time" as two words seems odd to me. However, the use of British English is appropriate for this article, since it deals with the First English Civil War. Is "mean time" or "meantime" the BE usage?

King Charles demands entry In the final paragraph, the words "civil war" are not capitalized (sentence beginning "This declaration from parliament ..."). Is this intentional?

It is. An argument could be made for either version I think. (As it is both a generic civil war, and the specific Civil War.) Unless you feel strongly that it should be capitalised, I'd rather leave it lower-case. Harrias ^talk 08:50, 26 January 2020 (UTC)

Henry Darley is a redlink. If Darley is not a figure likely to pass WP:GNG, the redlink should be removed. If article creation is likely, I see no problem with the redlink remaining.

Throughout article Generally, wikilinks should only be used for the first mention of an article in the text. I noticed that King Charles I was linked multiple times, and maybe a few others. Also, I noticed that parliament is usually in the lowercase. Is this standard usage?

The repeat links should be fixed now, and Parliament should be capitalised throughout. Bad habit. Harrias ^talk 08:50, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
