I think the title should be changed to Battle of Piacenza becuase Orestes was killed near of Piacenza not Pavia. Kardam (talk) 23:29, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think he was killed in battle. In fact, I can see neither a battle nor a siege at either Piacenza or Pavia/Ticinum in the sources, but I have moved the article to 'siege' because this is definitely the word employed by scholars (Gibbon, Hodgkin, Gillett).
