The existing wiki article for the silica cycle contains high quality writing, is factually accurate, and uses functioning links to a variety of sources. The illustration of the marine silica cycle appears to be original work and conveys clear and concise information which should be readily accessible to a general audience. The weathering section could be improved by using the chemical formula for a more relatable example, such as quartz, which would serve the dual advantage of also being a mineral that appreciably contributes to the silica cycle. Using wollastonite in this example provides an interesting chemical formula but may erroneously indicate that wollastonite significantly contributes to the silica cycle.
