It seems like this article is entirely unnecessary. I suggest replacing it with a link to Lens_(optics)#Construction_of_simple_lenses. Thoughts/Comments? MarkoZhuk09 (talk) 01:37, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't redirect to that section, which is very focused on lens shapes. It would be better to redirect to the top of the article. Whether we should redirect really depends on whether there is the potential for this article to be of value. Could we expand this article a bit to make it more useful?
