I think the team history should be changed. They bought the licence from the Hunter Pirates, but I don't really see them as a continuation of them. Does anyone have a source to confirm or deny that? Also, it appears Phillips are the major sponsor. But I will try and find a source for that before I put it up. Aceboy 04:04, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Import rules[edit]

They bought the licence. That hardly makes them the same team. How does the import rule work for a team in a foreign country? It appears they have two Americans (the imports) but also locals and someone from India. I imagine the rule is different for them because of their location. Does this advantage them to the Australasian clubs? Dankru 07:29, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Singaporeans and the Indian are considered locals in this team. Leoisiah 12:00, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if this is useful, but File:Singapore Slingers vs Darwin All-stars.jpg may be useful to this article. Bawolff (talk) 05:23, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
