Passport[edit]

According to Henley and Partners its not the passport with the most "power" Japan took that place. https://www.henleypassportindex.com/passport-index — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.61.181.255 (talk) 16:19, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Blue Passport[edit]

Could someone add a section regarding the cheaper, blue-cover passport used exclusively for travel to West Malaysia? I used to have one of these but I'm not sure if they are still being issued.

The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) (or its predecessor) announced the withdrawal of the blue passports a number of years ago; I'm not sure exactly when. Probably worth a mention in the article that there used to be such a form of limited passport, though. By the way, do sign your posts with "~~~~" as that puts your name and a date and time stamp on them. Cheers, Jacklee 22:04, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have included such information into the page already. --Mbssbs (talk) 08:31, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Demographic error[edit]

Shouldn't Malaysia be under the Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN) heading? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Assassin3577 (talkcontribs) 22:06, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ETA for Australia[edit]

Singaporean Passport holders are eligible for ETA the same as citizens of the US, Canada, Malaysia, etc.... http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ETAAus1En.html that is the website. Can someone please update the geography map of Visa Requirements Jmusc85 (talk) 00:54, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New biometric passport cover image needed[edit]

Seems that there is still no image of the new cover page of the new biometric passport introduced in October 2017. Can anyone provide such an image? --Mbssbs (talk) 08:31, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well written?:

Verifiable?:

Neutral: Acceptable.
Stable: Yes.

Images?:

Overall: There are too many problems with the state of sourcing that I feel that this cannot pass within a reasonable timeframe per WP:GAFAIL#0a. Please do not be discouraged by this as it is a rather well written C-Class article. –MJLTalk 22:11, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

Second paragraph of #Visa requirements is unsourced. I'm unsure if the Physical appearance section needs an citations, though.

Additionally, ref-18 and ref-19 are citations to the Singapore Constitution. It would be preferred for it to be cited to secondary sources rather than primary ones like that.

The statement The Singapore passport is ranked 1st as the most powerful passport in the world with visa-free or visa on arrival access to 189 countries and territories, in conjunction with the passport of Japan. has two issues. One, it should say who ranks it number first as the most powerful passport (see here). Secondly, the Channel NewsAsia source doesn't say that it's tied with Japan; it says that Japan outranks it now.

Some bare URLs are also prevalent. –MJLTalk 22:11, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

You could make the current intro into its own section titled Background or something similar. For the image, issues [[File:EPassport logo.svg|20px|link=]] creates no link for the image while [[File:EPassport logo.svg|20px|link=Biometric passport]] makes it link to Biometric passport. The other image in all likelihood should be deleted from Commons and re-uploaded locally here with a valid fair use rationale. As for the sourcing, I'd do a complete audit of all your sources to ensure they meet WP:RS to the letter. A good guideline for this task would be Help:Citing sources. Best of luck! –MJLTalk 22:19, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Passport number format[edit]

What is the format of the passport number? The format was the same as NRIC, but now they are independent of NRIC, for example, the 'E' prefix for the new biometric passports: http://www.nas.gov.sg/archivesonline/speeches/view-html?filename=20060725983.htm 119.73.236.215 (talk) 01:39, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Colour of passport cover[edit]

It looks orange to me beyond any doubt. Can I have a vote to see if we should change the colour from bright red to orange in the article please?--The Streif (talk) 06:32, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
