better plot summary needed[edit]
I realize articles have to be NPOV, but this one doesn't do justice to the film, which is surprisingly edgy and even a bit mean-spirited for a Hollywood comedy. Lynn Belvedere has unorthodox theories about child rearing, and isn't really that likable. I especially enjoy the scene in which a Robert Young declares that a neighborhood child who runs around collecting pollen (I forget the reason) should start a stud service.
