Going to clean up the EL section in accordance with WP:EL. At first glance there is not a single link which is encyclopedic or not commercial. WinterOfDiscontent 11:22, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

As someone unfamiliar with skiboarding, I think some photos of skiboards and people skiboarding might be useful either here or in the wikimedia commons. Andjam 00:44, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaning up?[edit]

Chaps, this whole article is very opinionated, esp. towards the end. I work at a ski slope, so I like to think I know my stuff to a limited degree, but the end of this article is just not free of opinion enough. Remember, it's a scientific article - not a springboard for any opinions.

I absolutely agree. This: In 2004, White Dwarf, a skiboarding video by Bentfilms, was released. This video was the first to highlight the technical possibilities of skiboarding separating it from skiing and showcased the talents of many new riders. is preposterously untrue...skiboarding videos, by their very nature, demonstrate the technical possibilities of skiboarding vs skiing, and line was making videos since they had riders to ride, almost a decade before White Dwarf, which isn't to say White Dwarf wasn't an amazing production, but you gotta remember Sb1 and Da Kiennan, man, those were biblical...years before White Dwarf. I'll work on this article, skiboarding needs all the help it can get, doesn't deserve to be poorly represented on wikipedia.--Josh Rocchio 00:33, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I plan to work on making the article more neutral and informative when I have a chance. TenaciousTC 03:44, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starting with the 4th parg. of history logic is broken. will added {{confusing}} tag as no time for more now (nor knowledge).--BBird (talk) 15:09, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should not have removed commercial external links[edit]

The "commercial" external links at the end of the article provided information about companies that make skiboards (and in the case of Salomon, the actual link to their Snowblade product). They were not advertisements. They were useful and helpful links for readers to learn more about what skiboards are being manufactured. Since skiboards seem rather rare, including these companies makes sense, in the external links section. Please re-add the hyperlinks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.190.70.218 (talk) 13:54, 14 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Snowblades[edit]

Although it was quite amusing that in the sentence about snowblades being a brand and not another name for skiboards in general, there was a link on the word snowblade that re-directed to this article...i have removed the link because it was pointless and a obviously a bit contradictory.

Ski blades[edit]

Can someone make a redirect page? That's what I had known them as, but this article was several results down in my search meaning I almost didn't find it. 74.46.57.20 (talk) 21:35, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
