SKOLKOVO IS DEAD.[edit]

By every indication including many many many published soruces, Skolkovo is dead. On the occasion of IBM signing on to provide cloud computing technology for the Skolkova project, I have added an IBM Press Release courtesy of rushpr (13 July 2012). While I was at it, I fixed some Rushglish and emphasized connectivity with other current or missing entries.

We need more pictures and I would like to know more about the Architects involved in the project. If someone beats me to it, great! Also: there's a demo on youtube that shows a dome over some portion of the complex that turns into a green house in the dead of winter - how real is that? Who's working on it?

No, it's not dead.[edit]

The singular article that was referenced by a previous editor as being sufficient justification to term Skolkovo "abandoned" is a Foreign Policy article that chronicles the decline of Skolkovo; it uses the term "death" in the headline to spice up the lede. The Skolkovo Foundation, the organization that governs the technopark, is still in existence, and companies are still operating in Skolkovo. As such, it is incredibly irresponsible to say that the whole thing is 'dead' on the basis of a single headline. There's no disputing the fact that its star has diminished considerably since the Medvedev years, but it's not 'dead', nor is it abandoned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.31.42.43 (talk) 21:41, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
