Foundation date[edit]

Its official foundation date is 1889, and it never had any other names. I have added this information to the article. A military post called Slavyansky was established here in 1861, but since it was purely a military facility, the foundation date is considered to be 1889, the year when the first civilian population appeared.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); November 1, 2011; 19:06 (UTC)
