Peak name?[edit]

Is Snowshoe Mountain the official name of the peak? It isn't listed at the USGS Geographic Names Information System. -- hike395 06:21, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The official name of the peak is Thorny Flat (4,848 feet). Snowshoe is the name of the resort and the unincorporated town at the base of the mountain. --Dabonnett 16:03, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mountain biking trails[edit]

It's kind of late at night to do right now, but would anybody mind if I heavily edit this to talk about both the summer and winter seasons of the mountain, along with the things you can do there? I know lots about t he biking portion.--Xernous 05:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's one in Colorado[edit]

While researching volcanism in the Rocky Mountains I stumbled across Snowshoe Mountain, seemingly located in the La Garita Caldera. I doubt it's worth its own page, but there should be references in that article and this one to distinguish it. Dismalscholar (talk) 22:00, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
