Just to let you know..[edit]

This article needs cleaning up - there are some grievious type and grammatical errors hidden amongst the text and the tone of the article is completely wrong. Remember, this is an encylopaedia, not your best mate ;).

I would rewrite it, but I feel that you [the original author] should be the one to do this.

Good luck!

live set?[edit]

"Snuff's live set involves playful banter between band members and the audience, with set lists normally being ignored in favour of requests."

this has not been my experience of them after seeing them about 10 times, where they ignored most requests. especially towards the end (2003-2005) when they quite often played a load of songs that no-one knew.

this point is part of a wider problem with the article in that it is very chatty and almost like a fanzine in places. i might re-write myself it when i get some time.

Fair use rationale for Image:Snuff band.jpg[edit]

Image:Snuff band.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Snuff (band)Snuff (British band) – Incomplete disambiguation; see Snuff (American band). 162 etc. (talk) 17:31, 10 March 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. – robertsky (talk) 00:15, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the pageviews, the British band has over fifty times the pageviews as the American. I think this could be a WP:PDAB situation. jlwoodwa (talk) 16:18, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Article was previously at Snuff (country rock band) and wikilinks mostly still point to that title. However, there's still very few hits coming to that article. 162 etc. (talk) 18:27, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. Incomplete disambiguation. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:43, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. WP:PDAB primary topic clearly applies here, given the huge discrepancy in page views.  — Amakuru (talk) 15:40, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I see no reason not to be clearer here. * Pppery * it has begun... 16:11, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Neither of these band topics seems very high in readership. The remark above about "over fifty times the pageviews" is incorrect. I see a ratio of about 15 relative to Snuff (country rock band) in the last year. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:39, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
