Deleted classification of The Damned as a "punk rock band"[edit]
The Damned changed over the years. Outside of "Nothing", there is little echo of The Damned's punk rock past here. The stripped down sounds of The Ramones or The Damned's early releases was left behind decades ago.
It makes sense to make mention of The Damned's punk rock roots on the main page. But, it's downright silly here. The band is clearly not a punk rock band--and hasn't been for some time.
The fact that The Damned was once a punk rock band just doesn't apply here. This isn't a punk rock album from a punk rock band. 72.205.250.123 (talk) 09:13, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
