Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as having no substantive content, because I created this page to mirror Donald Trump's page, I will add information asap. You can simply add information if you want, add to the source code that its a stub and request help expanding it, or move this into a draft page until it is more filled out. However, you cannot deny that this is a needed page that will inevitably be filled as Biden's presidency goes on. --Phillip Samuel (talk) 16:39, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article issues[edit]

I hid a blank section with subsections that apparently were meant for future expantion. This would be better in a subpage or draft as opposed to cluttering up the page.

This is listed as a stub-class, clearly not presented as such, and the very short lead is misleading "according to article content" with the added "...with executive orders". The Social policies, as presented in the article, are not just resulting, or mainly pushed by "executive articles". It is possible that lead expansion could clarify this.

The article has clear issues concerning subject focus per reliable sources.

The "Immigration" section, as presented with the following subsections, strays off-topic. The "Illegal drugs" subsection does not provide a connection to the title and is not sourced. The "Medical marijuana" subsection likely should be a section as there is a clear disconnect with the current subject of immigration and this is also not sourced.
References: There has to be a better sourcing all around especially like Instagram. If perceived as important to the sentence it should be archived to prevent link rot such as the source "Presidential Candidate Joe Biden on LGBTQ Issues" (used twice) that is a {{dead link}}.
The "Gun policy" section begins with "President Biden promised" supported by a source "Letter to Vice President Biden regarding Newtown shootings and gun violence" that is not only behind a paywall, but that source is also just an advertisement that for $14.95 or $19.95, one can have the luxury of viewing the content. While paywall protected sourcing is not against any policies or guidelines, this is a clear BLP related ("use of high-quality sources") article and "Any exceptional claim requires multiple high-quality sources" (See: WP:BLPSOURCES).
The "Native Americans" subsection begins with "Biden respects Native Americans, their contributions and their territories." This may be 100 % true but has to be directly supported by reliable sources or is possible original research.

This is obviously a political type article and balance to ensure a WP:NPOV is critical to prevent it from possibly being just a political propaganda article. Otr500 (talk) 09:44, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Defining "social policy"[edit]

This article incorrectly defines "social policy." Social policy is, according to most experts, the category of policies that help people cope with a lack of income or drops in income (i.e., Medicare, TANF, EITC).
