Low-Income Support[edit]

Buenos-Ding-Dong-Didily Dias:

Under this section, it might be useful to put up a chart of how much single individuals can expect to receive and how much for a family. From what I understand, the maximum for single individuals in Alberta is about 600 dollars a month. This might not help government propaganda about the attractiveness of "social programs" in Canada, but it would be a realistic depiction, which seems appropriate for an encyclopedia.

I can't find any chart for amounts in Canada. The closest thing I could find is this article from 2012 about increases: http://www.aacl.org/news/2012/02/09/news-item/low-income-albertans-and-disability-workers-get-boost-in-2012-budget/ Perhaps there's a reason governments don't want people to know how much they'll get...
