I removed the link from the term "Institute of Cancer Research". Spiegelman directed an institute by that name at Columbia, but the link goes to an article about a unit of the University of London with the same name. 4.232.225.162 00:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Academic career[edit]

Currently we have "which helped to lay the groundwork for advances in recombinant DNA technology". It would be useful toe xpand this a bit. In one book I am reading right now he is mentioned as the first one to have found or created a protein that would copy RNA in the lab (in-vitro).
