Contested deletion for article Somnath Ghosh[edit]
I apologize; this page is not attempting to be unambiguously promotional. I wrote this article and have no intention to promote the figure. I am also willing to correct any issues found. Wikipedia is, in general, lacking both content and major figures in the fields of computational and continuum mechanics. I plan to make attempts to relieve some of these gaps. The article for Somnath Ghosh was modeled after similar major figures in the field, such as Thomas J.R. Hughes, J. Tinsley Oden and others. I am trying to find the correct tone [1] for this class of articles to disseminate their contributions without implied promotion. It can sometimes be, unfortunately, a difficult line to walk. These figures have been major drivers in modern society for the past decades. I am available for discussion and edits for any sentences which may have been characterized as promotional.
