all the tracks had been previously released, some already noted in the text.

the first four toons had previously appeared on this 1953 7" 45rpm EP: Sonny Rollins With The Modern Jazz Quartet (PREP 1337)

alternate (original?) artwork for the EP ... as discogs is showing a UK pressing

also, PRLP 137 was his first album and should be noted as such
