Adellijke gunsten
Op voordracht van de Vice-Eerste Minister en Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken heeft de Koning bij koninklijke besluiten van 10 juli 2016 de volgende adellijke gunsten verleend:
- vergunning van de persoonlijke titel van barones aan Mevr. Sophie DE SCHAEPDRIJVER en Mevr. Isabelle SALMON;
- vergunning van de persoonlijke titel van baron aan de heren Eddy BRUYNINCKX, Jacques DELEN, Dominique LAMBERT, Joseph MARTIAL, Pierre RION en Johannes (Hans) VANHOUTTE.
The fact one has to "buy" a certificate and heraldic arms, are a mere formality but the ennoblement itself dates from the date of the royal decree if the procedure is followed through. The right is only forfeited if those obligations haven't been fulfilled within 5 years of the Royal Decree. For simplicity's sake it is better to make abstraction of this, and to only note if and when the rare case arises that those conditions are not met (like with Marie-France Botte )-- fdewaele, 19 July 2016, 16:25 CET.
