Digital collectible card games[edit]

I am the person that started this article some 6 months ago. I agree that some of the text on Sorare is now self serving for the company, and I will edit it.

The reason why I started the article in the first place, is that I am interested in both Digital collectible card games and blockchain. And I think the combination of the two is very powerful and a very interesting development.

I began to write on this and other games in other articles. But Administrator Leitmotiv deleted all that I wrote, with a later record of our conversation on his talk page For me, the right place to write about is in Digital collectible card games, but Leitmotiv has very different views and for me, polices his patch very tightly (it is true that DCCG mean something a bit different in the USA it seems with a different gaming tradition than Europe or Asia). In the end, I gave up arguing over it and lost interest.

Leitmotiv wrote prior to our exchanges.

Undid revision 971687549 by TGcoa (talk) both entries seem to fail the definition. cryptokitties doesn't define itself as a card game. The other while it uses cards, doesn't say it has strategic play between opponents with those cards.

For me, the strategic element in a game like Sorare and other blockchain games is obvious ... but not for Leitmotiv.

Anyway maybe I should find another patch, maybe a new article, to develop this, and also make reference to other similar and new games, and reflect as well about Sorare = > Give me a few days to think about this please. TGcoa (talk) 16:02, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

TGcoa, Do check the AfD discussion where we have found a number of other sources to help you expand this. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:19, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with Pitorus' comment. You may be able to find sources that you can use to cite some of the information that was deleted. Just make sure not to add any non-neutral statements or information that cannot be adequately verified by reliable sources like those mentioned in the AfD discussion.
