Inheritance[edit]

Hey, I see you are a student of Assas and, as such, heavily biased against Paris I. As you should know, your repeated comment that "Assas is the main inheritor of the Sorbonne Law Faculty" is an utter nonsense. Before 1970, the Sorbonne was the nickname for the Faculty of Letters and, in a less conspicuous way, for the Faculty of Sciences, both having their premisses in the "new Sorbonne building" on Place de la Sorbonne. There was no such thing as a "Sorbonne Law Faculty", but a Paris Law Faculty, with a building place du Panthéon. Futhermore, you won't find a source claiming Assas is the sole heir to this old faculty. The Chancery presentation page of Paris I claims it as an heir of the Law Faculty also. The only thing we can call a "Sorbonne Law School" is the school created recently by Paris I and the first one to blend Law teaching and Sorbonne name. 93.21.40.101 (talk) 19:00, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Nearly all the law professors the former Paris Law school went to Assas University, it's a fact. Thus, it's its main inheritor. But you've right: the main inheritor of the Sorbonne is Paris-Sorbonne, the Letter faculty. Panthéon-Sorbonne is one of the inheritors of the University as a whole, but only few law professors from the Sorbonne went there. --Launebee (talk) 09:44, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You still have to give a source if you want to claim that "all the law professors the former Paris Law school went to Assas University". Until then, it's not a fact, it's your opinion.

English names and link to sub-section in corresponding university article[edit]

Paris law school is the english name of the "Ecole de Droit de Paris" of Panthéon-Assas University. The link points to a sub-section of the Collèges de droit en France article. It should also point to Panthéon-Assas University. The same should be done for Sorbonne Law School and Panthéon-Sorbonne University (currently only the french name appears and there is no link).
