Cretan[edit]

Souda is Cretan. And it's beautiful. But you wouldn't know it from this chauvinistic article written as if the area is duly colonised by the US. Classic Wikipedia. Try putting in some pics of the area. There's too much US military trash here and it's not appreciated any more here than in the city itself.

NAMFI[edit]

Between +- 1972 till 1975 Capt. ALHA Goot with NATO number 361125124 was located at NAMFI as commanding officer for the Dutch Forces. He and his family (Ankie, Kiki and Niels) lived at Chania. If there is anyone who new Ben Groot and Ankie his wife, and feels like to add. any memories we would be happy! My father Ben Groot died unfortunately on October 11th. 2002.
