The result of the move request was: no move Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 17:16, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

South-East Region, IrelandSouth-East Region — I think that this article should merge with South-East Region. The South-East Region article just redirects to this article. It had no material. Yet it is "squatting" on the proper name for the region. No other region of the world has this name. The disambiguation page for South-East Region can contiue to use the name for the avoidance of doubt. Laurel Lodged (talk) 12:54, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have no opinion on the merits or non-merits of the requested change, but wish to note that since the proposed title is currently a redirect to this one rather than a separate article about the same topic, the nomination constitutes a move request, not a merger of two articles. Accordingly, I've removed the {{mergeto}} template from the article, and added the {{movereq}} template here, as this is the correct process for the request.
