Had the same question myself. It was 2005, and I edited the text to show it. B00P (talk) 20:55, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

League logo posted here is incorrect, refer to their webpage for the correct logo. It is now all 1 colour. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.2.247.32 (talk) 12:54, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging the Western Carolinas League article into the SAL article cause the Western Carolinas League and the most recent SAL is the same league, just changed names.Granthew (talk) 18:56, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Two completely different former leagues. They didn't just change names as you put it. Western Carolinas League was under its own name until 1980 and operated as such. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 17:29, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Consolidate Other South Atlantic League Articles First?[edit]

Before the Western Carolinas League article is merged, perhaps it would be better to consolidate all of the South Atlantic league related articles into this article. Specifically, the articles List of South Atlantic League champions, South Atlantic League Hall of Fame, and South Atlantic League rosters should be consolidated into this article. The consolidated article would not exceed the Wikipedia article guidelines for article length. In addition, consolidating these articles would make the South Atlantic League article more closely resemble the Western Carolinas League article.
