Title: South East Stars Academy - 2020/2021[edit]

This is my first attempt - if I have anything wrong, please feel free to remove. Would it be possible to have a page linked to the main "South East Stars" and showing the Academy players for the period 2020/2021, in a similar format to the Root page created called "South East Stars" ?

The academy list was announced on Monday 8th March 2021.

Six Surrey Women players have been included in the South East Stars Regional Academy’s first intake ahead of the 2021 domestic season.

Alice Capsey, Chloe Brewer & Claudie Cooper will all be part of the Academy squad while younger players Anjali Ketan, Laxmi Johal & Maddie Blinkhorn-Jones are in the wider squad.

As part of the new Women’s Domestic Structure in England and Wales, eight new Regional Academies have launched to underpin the eight women’s senior regional teams, including the South East Stars.

The new Regional Academy structure replaces the Regional Development Centres (RDCs), and the new Academies will see an uplift in the hours of delivery across winter and summer, offering year-round training and matches.

Match and training schedules for regional sides will accommodate county considerations for 2021, ensuring that counties will have as many of their players available throughout the season. Academy Squad:

Alexa Stonehouse – Kent Alice Capsey – Surrey Bethan Miles – Bucks County Chloe Brewer – Surrey Claudie Cooper – Surrey Darcey Carter – Kent Emma Jones – Essex Indigo Gentry – Sussex Kalea Moore – Kent Megan Sturge – Kent Ryana Macdonald-Gay – Kent Sydney Gorham – Kent

Academy Wider Squad: Anjali Ketan (Surrey) Laxmi Johal (Surrey) Maddie Blinkhorn-Jones (Surrey) Jemima Spence (Kent) Jessie Gale (Kent)

Thanks for the suggestion: I don't think that the South East Stars Academy is notable enough to warrant its own page, but a section on this page (possibly along with a Coaching Staff section) is possible. I can't find any precedent/template for this kind of thing on any other team's (men or women) page however, although football teams often have a section for it. Overall it's something that could be done if you want to give it a go (WP:BOLD), but it's not my priority at the moment (and I'm pretty much the only person so far who's paid attention to this page!).
