Fairly well-written article throughout. It has only a couple minor problems -- first and foremost, I think the citations are a bit overboard. There should be no need to put four citations after just one sentence. Also, I'd move the fact about it being nicknamed the extended family room out of the intro and into the body, because that sentence doesn't summarize. I'm also concerned about the high number of red links throughout, but I'll assume good faith here.
Otherwise, yeah. Nothing stands out as a problem; the prose is well-written; there are more than sufficient sources; there are no concerns with original research; and all the major points are well-covered. If this were to get listed for FA, it would probably need a wider scope of sources.
