Location map[edit]

The location map shows Raasay in red, not Rona. Mutt Lunker (talk) 00:23, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

True and fixed. Ben MacDui 09:06, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Was Rona cleared for sheep?[edit]

This article says: "In 1843 Rona was sold to George Rainy who began clearing the native population to make way for sheep." Surely it was Raasay which was cleared for sheep, and many of the Raasay crofters were exiled to Rona, it being so rocky and unfertile. 94.196.242.204 (talk) 18:48, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quite right and now fixed. Ben MacDui 16:47, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

North-east?[edit]

Surely Rona is not 'north-east' of Skye, but just 'east', judging by its position on the map. I hope this isn't condemned as constituting 'original research' on my part and have some zealot jump on it despite it being bleeding obvious. In fact it's so obvious, that I should probably just go ahead an change it in the article. But 'be bold' doesn't seem to apply much on Wikipedia, does it, so here it is for discussion on the talk pages. Sigh.

Rona is east of Trotternish but north of Broadford, so it's both (and northeast of Portree) - "north and east" might be better. Ben MacDui 08:51, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the map. It's east of Skye. Have you got some sort of authority over this page? Who are you? 92.20.250.42 (talk) 14:56, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
