It is explained at the bottom of the box thus: "If shown, area and population ranks are for all Scottish islands and all inhabited Scottish islands respectively." - unless you mean that visitors will not understand the meaning of "rank". Ben Mac Dui 17:52, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

point taken. i went back to put an asterisk, linking to the explanation, but i can't find that block of text on the edit page. i expect thats my lack of understanding of the wiki markup system. still, i think an asterisk is in order, to let the reader know at that point that there is an explanation.Toyokuni3 (talk) 03:19, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
