Rationale[edit]

I suppose Klamath Falls is debatable, based on their own wish not to be thought of as east of the Cascades and instead considered South Central Oregon. Perhaps South Central Oregon merits a regional page of its own, to include Klamath. However, in no way is Burns Southern Oregon, nor is Christmas Valley. Duff 07:48, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

I'd suggest making a table for the cities as well, with Name/population/county as the fields, maybe date of founding as well. Aboutmovies 18:23, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do Southeastern Oregon, Oregon Outback, and Harney Basin differ? Katr67 22:20, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Harney Basin is a specific watershed within Harney County. I've been perusing Oregon Outback also, and think that a consolidation and redirect to that page is quite appropriate for Southeastern Oregon, as the region is most commonly referred to thus. Will take a stab.Duff 07:47, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've always wondered if "Oregon Outback" was dreamed up by the tourism commission. Wouldn't "Southeast Oregon" be the more neutral term? In any case, whichever one it is should be put in the {{Oregon}} navbox and it should be made clear in each article how it is different from Harney Basin (which is currently in there).
