Could use some copy-editing love[edit]

I'm not sure if this is covered in the Manual of Style, but the article reads like it was written for a grade school audience. I'm not bold enough to make the changes necessary to bring this more in line with the quality of other Wikipedia articles, but perhaps someone more experienced might give it a go.
