Needs more sources[edit]
Depending on only one source does not even establish if this limited definition is accepted, rather than the historical one which was based on coastal, colonial development. It leaves out all the development of major cities and defense bases in the coastal areas, starting in the colonial era and important during the Revolution and the Civil War. This seems very strange.
