Possible split[edit]

This article seems to have expanded beyond the scope of the SWAC Baseball Tournament. It now lists regular season championships from before any postseason championship was held, and omits a table of champions of the Tournament (supposedly the focus of the article). I'd suggest that this content be split and moved to a page listing SWAC champions, which could be baseball specific (such as List of Big Ten Conference baseball champions) or cover all sports (such as List of Southeastern Conference champions). It is excellent content and should be preserved, but this page should be reserved for the Tournament specifically. Billcasey905 (talk) 16:44, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This page and the SWAC Championship Game article for football are similar in their treatment of regular season and postseason-determined champions, and both should probably be split for the same reason, to differentiate between the way of determining the champions (just like the Big Ten articles do, as you already noted). I'll start the process in the coming weeks.
