Loss of sovereignty[edit]

I've heard that a state can lose sovereignty if it deals in businesses as stated in the Clearview doctrine of the common law. Is this true? FelixIsConfused (talk) 12:22, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you hear that? There doesn't appear to be any connection. Selfstudier (talk) 12:26, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Taiwan[edit]

Why is this island nation not discussed here? It is baffling why this obviously germane and salient focus is missing from Wikipedia's discussion of "Sovereign State". I cannot perceive a rationale explanation for this blatantly obvious oversight, and unfortunately I am left to conclude that the PRC in some significant way has influence over Wikipedia's content. 2601:14B:4082:5260:E119:83E7:BF1A:92A9 (talk) 19:18, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Taiwan is discussed in the list of states with limited recognition, which is linked in the article. This is a general article where the concept of a sovereign state discussed. Yelysavet (talk) 19:33, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
