Flightless or not?[edit]

I've never heard doubts about its flightlesness before, any citations for this? Sabine's Sunbird talk 00:55, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perspicillatus[edit]

According to http://www.archives.nd.edu/cgi-bin/words.exe?perspicillum at least, perspicillum means "spectacles" or "glasses", so perspicillatus would mean "spectacled", not "conspicuous" (which could be e.g. insignis) - changed. Tjunier (talk) 21:38, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
