Episode order[edit]

I changed the order of episodes to follow IMDB:

1: Love Is a Download
2: Mano's Hands
3: Tears of a Clone
4: An Eye for an Eye
5: Sex Drive
6: Raven's Revenge

IMDB isn't terribly authoritative, but also found this post at ralphbakshi.com that agrees with it. And also a fan's screencaps in the same order. I can't find any 1997 program listings online, and of course there isn't an official DVD release. Barsoomian (talk) 07:38, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Summaries swaps[edit]

For some reason, people keep swapping the summaries of Ep 1 "Love is a Download" and Ep 5 "Sex Drive". None of the episodes has a title card, but I've actually watched them all and :

  • "Love is a Download" is about a romance in virtual reality
  • "Sex Drive" is a crime story about robot hookers. The female cop drives a taxi; thus "sex" and "drive".

I keep reverting these and will keep doing so unless someone comes up with a reliable source that says otherwise. Barsoomian (talk) 11:51, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Different Intros[edit]

The original HBO airings of Spicy City have an intro showing lipstick markings. Here is a video recorded from an original HBO airing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_wZSiB4vhE.

Later airings on Teletoon (like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSlrv2bQPhI) and 2×2 (like this one: http://rutube.ru/video/2df0af7d31b61427efbcbc77a099d27a/) use a different intro, replacing the lips with a heart.

Does anyone know what the reason for this is? I believe that it should be mentioned in the article.--Madotsuki the Dreamer (talk) 14:06, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Broadcast channels[edit]

Do we have record of any stations besides HBO broadcasting this? I remember seeing it on TV as a kid in the 90s and I'm pretty sure we did not have HBO. ScratchMarshall (talk) 05:54, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

First Adults Only cartoon series[edit]

That statement about it being the first "adults only" cartoon series seems a bit dubious. (Whatever that means.) How about "Liquid Television", for instance? And I guess there would be examples for Japanese anime. Neon Genesis Evangelion apparently debuted the year prior, for instance. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 12:32, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Maxx series also debuted a few years earlier, and the Spawn series the month prior. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 12:37, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
