Merging Spira (Spiro) into Spira (family name) looks like a sensible idea to me Pontificake 00:25, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spira = Spiral = coiled, "helmet straps" and "coiled SNAKE" have no basis in fact that I'm aware of

No Way the origin of the name is from the town Schpire in Germany, so if anything it should be merged to that, but no, since Spiro is a common enough way to spell the name. In the Hebrew wikipedia it should be easier merging this and other versions of the spiro family name, but not here. Chavatshimshon 06:44, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shapiro[edit]
