Manual[edit]

It seems there is a BIG chunk of Louisville high school football history missing. Where is mention of Manual? The Old Rivalry? Keenan Burton? High school football in Louisville is NOT limited to just the pricks at Trinity and X. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.33.23.5 (talkcontribs)

Sources and citations[edit]

Here are some suggestions for sources and citations for many of the teams listed.

First, The Encyclopedia of Louisville has articles that give great information about many of these teams and where they played, though often the best resource is under articles styled Football, Basketball, etc.

http://www.remembertheaba.com/Kentucky-Colonels.html gives great information about the Kentucky Colonels of the American Basketball Association

http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Arena/6925/npbl.html gives information on the National Professional Basketball League and its Louisville Alumnites team

http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Arena/6925/pbla.html gives information on the Professional Basketball League of America and its Louisville Colonels (PBLA) team

http://www.angelfire.com/sd/slopitch/pro.html gives information on professional softball leagues and the Kentucky Bourbons team

Louisville (NFL) covers the Louisville NFL teams —Preceding unsigned comment added by LanternLight (talkcontribs)

Female football team in Oldham County?[edit]

Someone posted a todo item for the main Louisville article that they "read where a women's football team played at Oldham County High School". If anyone has information on this, it might make for interesting content for this article. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 16:34, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cyclo cross[edit]

Louisville has won the right to host the 2013 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, which will be the first ever Cyclo-cross World Championships out of Europe... maybe worth a mention? (although cyclo-cross is not so popular in USA...) Pelotastalk 13:16, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New arena[edit]

Should there be a mention of the new arena that is being built downtown? Or hold off on adding this section until the stadium arena is finished? biancasimone (talk) 07:24, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
