TCO question parking spot

  • 3.5cm corrrect? Seems tiny for an adult turtle.
  • Duck eating? When so small?
Source (Ernst of course) doesn't elaborate. I would imagine this was carrion.--NYMFan69-86 (talk) 01:08, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

keel

Keel: if you're looking for a visual

Like how you described the keel. Having been seeing this around and realized they were talking about the top shell. I had thought that it meant the bottom (like keel in a ship). I should probably think about amending on picta. There's nothing "wrong" as I just said flat-bottomed. And well they are. But I guess maybe important to call out the lack of keel. What turtles do have a keel?TCO (talk) 00:01, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. Most Emydids do, just not this little guy. Picta may need ammending (if one of the author's was even confused). Thanks again for checking out the article!--NYMFan69-86 (talk) 01:10, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
I'll add it in the Description section. Keep it out of the picta lead, as our picta lead is pretty dense anyhow, and idea is to be simple and straightforward in lead. And that's just too techie.TCO (talk) 01:20, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
