Cleanup[edit]

This is fancruft overload. Whole swaths need to be deleted, minor characters need to be put into lists and given a single sentance, or just deleted. What has been done with the characters section is terrible. Beyond belief, actually. In an article about Spriggan, you're not going to talk about the characters? That's probably the dumbest edit I've seen on wikipedia. What it should look like is

Characters (section)

Main Article: Spriggan Characters (if they're actually notable enough to deserve their own article, which I doubt--there /are/ criteria for such things)

description of main characters.

Hi! wow168 here. I'm a fan of Spriggan and just recently bought a few volumes of the English version from Chuang Yi Manga edition. I will try to cleanup and update this article based on what available data that I can get my hands on. =) d@@b 12:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

If any Spriggan fans out there are thinking of working on this article, I'd recommend reading Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction) first. Specifically, this article and related articles needs more secondary information (ie. information about the manga's development, release, reception, etc.) and less primary information (ie. fictional universe information about the plot, character, organizations, etc). - kollision (talk) 04:03, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Characters[edit]

I just went through and deleted a hell of a lot of cruft in the descriptions. Where the cruft-deletion got rid of all but one sentance, the character was deleted. Now somebody familiar with the manga needs to go back and pick out what characters are minor, so they can get further reduced to a list, something like:

Minor Character #1 - A one-sentence description.
Minor Character #2 - A one-sentence description.

(et cetera)

Most villains are probably minor characters unless they are recurring. The rest of the article needs an axe job, I think the 'Fictional Locations' section can probably be deleted entirely, and the 'Organizations' and 'Artifacts' should be combined into one section, perhaps 'Concepts' or some such. I finished what I started when I originally sorted the article according to its genre. That should make the article easier to read. I would suggest that most of the character portraits be removed because they're clutter (even after I made them less intrusive). There really isn't a need for every character to have his or her portrait included. Maybe nominate this for WP:AnCOTW? --TheFarix (Talk) 18:07, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, there are too many pictures. A group pic of the main characters would be nice. Publicity pics would be better than scanned pages. And if you can think of a concise summary of what needs to be done with this article, go ahead with the AnCOTW. I don't have any idea what this should look like. Others

I translated it as "Tae Ngueonal". Can anyone versed in Korean confirm this? Use this as a reference:
