German wiki[edit]

this article is linked to german wiki to: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakel wich is not precise.

it should be linked to:http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abzieher_%28Putzger%C3%A4t%29 if anyone would change this, thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.54.54.22 (talk) 21:29, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like neither of these 2 pages refer to exactly what is the broader subject of the page of the English Wikipedia; rather the first one merely refers to a tool used to clean windows, and the second one doesn't mention anything about cleaning windows. Perhaps a dilemma ... Maybe there is no exact translation of the broader idea of a "squeegee" into German ("Haushaltsrakel" doesn't seems to be common at all, on first sight). Probably there should be a disambiguation page created in the German Wikipedia? (Verheyen Vincent (talk) 07:27, 31 July 2016 (UTC))[reply]

sponga reference[edit]

I removed the part about common use in Israel and the link to Rabbi Aviner, not sure what the deal is here, but not really necessary here. Thanks, --Tom 20:36, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see that sponga was deleted and redirected here? Anyways, --Tom 20:55, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inter-wiki links are incorrect?[edit]

I am looking at the Russian translation, and see that most likely the word ракель is only used in Russian in the context of the section "Printing and photography" and not as an instrument for cleaning windows or floors. And the literal term "резиновая швабра" used for the name of the instrument. Looking at the German article I see that probably the same is true as well. Are there any facilities in Wikipedia to handle such partial translations? Yurivict (talk) 17:13, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger with Squeegee (floor)[edit]

Didn't put up the banner, but do it. Having two different pages is just silly. MrNerdHair (talk) 02:04, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
